Well this week went a little better than last. My goal was to get more organized and come up with some type of schedule that would best fit my time. Since it was the second week, I got an idea of how to plan my time wisely. I started off by going to Wal-mart and getting one notebook for all my CD classes so that I have everything together. I also picked up a planner that fits in my notebook, so far I've been using it & it's been working great! Now, I just hope that I keep using it. I do find that I enjoy being buisy. Although, things seem hectic at times, I really enjoy the being buisy. Last year I had a lot more time on my hands, and instead of doing something constructive or something that needed to be done, I would put things off til the last minute just out of laziness. Now, I feel like the extra time that I have needs to be worth while, so I get a lot more done and am more active.
Well that's about all ...til next week:)

Well, let me first start out by saying that I am not used to writing in a journal, so this is a new experience for me. I have tried many times in the past, but I always end up writing EVERY single thing that happens to me and it takes too long. So it never lasts. Therefore, I am actually glad that we have to do this, however I will try to break away from my old habits and keep the entries shorter than usual.
This week has been very exhausting for me (as I’m sure has been for everyone else). This semester will be the first semester that I will have a job and be going to school at the same time. I know many people do it along with other activities, so I’m hoping it won’t be a problem. Getting the first week out of the way helped me have an idea of what kind of schedule I would have. So now, before the week starts I can sit down and plan out when I can do what. My goal this semester is to manage my time a little better and not wait till the last minute to do things.
Although I am a little nervous, I am looking forward to my classes. This will also be my first semester in the CD program. Since I have mostly CD classes, I am hoping that it will be easier for me to learn the material, because it is something I enjoy and will be doing the rest of my life.
Well, along with all the craziness of the first week, I got a flat tire…my first one ever. Of coarse, it was in the morning when I was getting ready to go to work. Luckily, I saw it before I left and my roommates didn’t mind waking up and being my taxi for the day (Thanks girls!). Everything's taken care of now; a friend was nice enough to put the spare on for me, and I was able to go and get my tire fixed.
Hopefully, it’s a little foreshadow of the semester to come—no matter what comes along, it will all work out!
